Back-story: Sent to Earth way before Sonic arrived. It is here He landed in Ancient city of Pompeii, And he took his knowledge of the Ancient ways and with his connection to the master Emerald, which came in handy later when the people of Pompeii threw him into the Volcano as a sacrifice to their gods. Later that day Rivens powers with the Master emerald however strong saved him from his fate, giving him his powers of the fire element, and thus making the volcano erupt and destroying the city of Pompeii. Now fast forward centuries later where the humans begun to unearth that lost city, they set Riven free from his slumber and he sets out into the world once again but in a different time where he later meets up with sonic and friends.
